The traps for women in Internet Dating are not as obvious for those of men. But they are defiantly there. One of those is that of sheer numbers.

On most Internet dating sites have women are out numbered by men. At first this can sound promising, but once you have spent some time doing online dating you will find that the quality of the men leaves something to be desired. Or so many women how are experienced online daters say!

One of the traps for women is psychological by nature. It is quite common for women to develop a “I'm just too good for all of you attitude”. This can be due to the influx of emails from men who are begging for just one date. With the addition that they are often way to old in relation to what the woman is looking for.

Another trap is cynicism. Its hard to stay enthusiastic when your getting swamped with provocative emails from men when you explicitly outlined in your profile that your interested in a relationship only! Also men tend to flick through profiles quite quickly and send as many winks as possible. This is due to the fact that they are competing with possibly hundreds of men to contact just one woman.

Another trap for women is the age old “all men are liars” proverb. Men will often say anything to get a woman on side and lets face it, its easier to lie in an email than it is face to face.
